Archant Ventures will invest in local organisations that show real growth potential – to accelerate their success, create new jobs and make a positive impact on the communities they serve, says the company.
Led by Kieran Miles, himself a successful entrepreneur, Archant Ventures will provide marketing and advertising support in return for a small equity stake in the business.
Kieran, a former Barclays Entrepreneur of the Year, who joined Archant in March said: “There are so many brilliantly innovative and exciting businesses within our communities but many find it challenging to maximise their potential. Archant Ventures will unleash opportunity by providing access to our complete range of marketing products and platforms, enabling them to forge more connections, increase visibility, reach their target market and accelerate their growth.”

Archant says it is already in conversation with a number of fledgling businesses, and Kieran explains: “No two projects are the same. It’s about understanding the vision of each business – really getting under the skin and seeing the passion and potential. I have already met with several potential opportunities and am genuinely blown away by the talent and creativity in our business communities”.
