CDS Global appoints Chris Berridge

CDS Global has appointed Chris Berridge, Head of Development in the UK, reporting to Pierrick Guinguené.

Chris (pictured), who joined in December, has exceptional experience leading large teams and managing multiple web and digital projects on a global scale, says CDS. At Maersk Line, the world’s largest shipping company he led the adoption of agile development methods. Prior to this, he held senior positions on a global scale, working with Lauritz.com, eBay and DHL, where he led the development transactional e-commerce systems. In 2011, he was awarded the Agile Program/Project Manager of the Year (UK Agile Awards).

Pierrick Guinguené, IT director for CDS Global UK, commented on the new appointment; “hiring Chris is a key step towards realising our ambition to lead the market in digital services for publishers. Highly scalable online systems and the effective use of agile development methodologies will be critical in developing rapid solutions for our clients.”
