Daily Mail surpasses 25 million TikTok milestone
Nick Moar: “This is a momentous achievement that reflects the incredible work of our journalists, editors and creatives building our social channels.”

With more than 38 million followers on all profiles and 150 million across social platforms, Daily Mail says it has captivated a new audience generating billions of views each month.

From elections that shape the world to the Hollywood headlines, viral moments and sporting drama that define modern culture, Daily Mail has become a destination for some of the biggest stories on social media.

The milestone comes a month after Daily Mail launched two new dedicated publishers, dmg newmedia and Creator Media, designed to shape the future of news and entertainment for young audiences and help advertisers connect with the Mail’s social following.

The launch of the new talent-led formats has driven another surge in growth, added the publisher, expanding the Mail’s reach among younger audiences and reinforcing its reputation for visual and data-driven social journalism.

Katie Davies, US editor-in-chief, said: “It’s a testament to the power of the Daily Mail’s newsroom to consistently deliver Seriously Popular content for a huge, engaged audience. We look forward to building on this success, working with our incredibly talented journalists to deliver quality news and entertainment to millions of loyal users every day.”

Nick Moar, head of dmg newmedia said: “This is a momentous achievement that reflects the incredible work of our journalists, editors and creatives building our social channels. Talent-led social storytelling sits at the heart of everything we do and with the launch of our new social publisher, dmg newmedia, the future of how we inform and entertain audiences has never looked more exciting.”

Daily Mail says its continued success on social media reflects the power of its global newsroom and its ability to meet audiences where they are, with Seriously Popular storytelling that informs, entertains, and inspires.
