Powered by the Mail’s Shows team, the video journalism is designed to help viewers understand the biggest stories from around the globe, says the Daily Mail.

In the last two years, the publisher says the channel has generated more than 170 million views, delivered over 40 million watch hours and produced more than 30 videos with over one million views each.

Hit shows have included Battle Board and War on Tape, and an episode of Crossfire, in which former Prime Minister Boris Johnson goes to Ukraine, has been sold to Channel 5.

Their success has been driven by a focus on developing high-concept, evergreen shows that combine strong storytelling with high production values and an emphasis on viewer retention, the publisher continued.
