Weekend will offer a curated On Demand service, highlighting the best of Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and other streamers.
Weekend magazine, which comes free every Saturday with the Daily Mail, will also introduce ‘Britain’s most switched-on critic’ with Sarah Vine who will be giving her view on the most talked-about shows of the week.
The redesigned 88-page guide will include a total of 72 TV channels, a separate Freeview section with 30 of the most popular channels, plus the best soaps, sporting events, radio shows and podcasts.
The refreshed listings section will offer a comprehensive choice of the week’s terrestrial, satellite, and cable TV – over six giant pages for each day’s viewing, promises the Mail – and now printed in a larger font size ensuring the TV pages are clear and informative.
Weekend Magazine relaunch edition is out Saturday 16 April 2022 with a cover featuring TV presenter Holly Willoughby and an exclusive interview with the TV presenter where she reveals that she suffered from ‘massive imposter syndrome’.
There’s also, say the publishers, a new look for its regular columnists including Jaci Stephen, Monty Don and James Martin plus 3-pages of puzzles and prizes.
