AOP has announced winners of the Digital Publishing Awards 2025.

Digital Publishing Awards 2025: winners announced
Richard Reeves: “Congratulations to all the winners and highly-commended entries, who are driving innovation and helping to future-proof the industry.”

The Association of Online Publishers (AOP) celebrated its 23rd Awards this week, honouring some of the digital publishing industry’s top talent at the in-person ceremony, held at Old Billingsgate in London.

AOP’s flagship event was hosted by comedian Ivo Graham and recognised the individuals, teams and companies driving the growth and innovation of the digital publishing sector. There were 27 category winners, including Sheri Reefer, audience & digital insights specialist, who received the Bill Murray Award for Outstanding Contribution to Digital Publishing.

AOP says categories were judged by a panel of digital industry experts under the guidance of co-chairs Katie Le Ruez, former director of digital at Guardian News & Media, and Thomas Lake, product & technology director at Infopro Digital.

“With so much transformation in the digital publishing industry, I’m hugely proud that we are able to take a moment to celebrate the hard work and dedication of all those driving the industry forward,” comments Richard Reeves, managing director at AOP. “Congratulations to all the winners and highly-commended entries, who are driving innovation and helping to future-proof the industry.”

Among the other winners on the night was Charlotte Collins of SheerLuxe, who took home the Editor of the Year accolade, Newsquest, who won Best Digital Publishing Innovation for The AI-Assisted Reporter, and Utiq, who were awarded Best Media Technology Partner: Audiences.
