The partnership launches with a 30-piece Autumn/Winter collection, curated by the Harper’s Bazaar UK fashion team, designed for seven-day investment dressing, says the publisher. Drawing on Karen Millen’s categories, including tailoring, outerwear, occasion dressing and elevated separates, the collection celebrates the enduring codes of British style through a modern editorial lens. A Spring/Summer edit will follow in 2027.
The range reimagines recognisable Karen Millen hero pieces, such as the trench, blazer, occasion dress and white shirt, with contemporary proportions, modern silhouettes, luxurious fabrics and considered detailing. Designed to be styled in multiple ways, the collection combines versatility and longevity for everyday life, from desk to dinner and weekday to weekend, added Harper’s Bazaar UK.
The launch will be supported by an integrated Harper’s Bazaar UK and Karen Millen marketing programme, the publisher continued, including social and influencer activity, affiliate marketing, and an exclusive launch event.
Lydia Slater, editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar UK, said: “Harper’s Bazaar UK has a rich heritage of celebrating distinctive, enduring style. For me, the connection with Karen Millen came to life at a Harper's Bazaar Privé members event, when I spotted a woman wearing a beautifully tailored Karen Millen dress. We got talking about its cut, fit and craftsmanship, and I was struck by how naturally the brand speaks to our readers: women who know what suits them and choose pieces they’ll wear for years. That shared appreciation for lasting British style is at the heart of Beyond the Season.”
Dan Finley, group CEO, Debenhams Group, said: “I’m delighted to announce this powerful partnership between two iconic British fashion brands. Harper’s Bazaar UK and Karen Millen share a deep understanding of the contemporary woman, and Beyond the Season brings that to life through a curated collection of premium investment pieces designed to inspire confidence and stand the test of time. A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this collaboration to life.”
