Inaugural Healthy and Natural Show opens in Chicago

The first ever Healthy and Natural Show is being hosted by William Reed this week at Chicago’s Navy Pier.

The three-day event running through May 7 is catering to manufacturers working with a range of healthy and natural products including supplements, healthy foods, beverages, personal care products and pet foods. It also offers a meeting point for industry manufacturers, brokers, retailers and distributers.

Currently, says William Reed, more than 1,300 attendees are expected and 115 exhibitors are scheduled. Major sponsors include PlueCBD Oil, Amin Talati & Upadhye and the Organic & Natural Health Association.

Len Monheit, General Manager, North America, said: “One initial premise of the show has already been validated, as initial responses demonstrate the need and interest in having a healthy-and-natural-themed trade show focused in the Midwest. The Midwest has many emerging companies in the world of healthy and natural and the area also has retailers looking for innovative products to serve new categories of interested consumers. Our opportunity was to put the two groups together in an intimate and energetic environment.”

Coming eight weeks after Natural Products Expo West, the trade show is well timed for the launching of summer products, or to offer a launching point in the Midwest, says William Reed.
