The shortlist has this week been announced for the Society's Media Freedom Awards 2024.

Media Freedom Awards 2024: shortlist announced

The Society of Editors says the Media Freedom Awards 2024, sponsored by Allwyn and Vodafone, recognise excellence across 23 categories and will bring together more than 250 journalists from all sectors of the UK news industry for a reception, dinner and ceremony at the Underglobe in London on the evening of Tuesday 12 November 2024.

The ceremony will be presented by ITV News Journalist and Presenter Lucrezia Millarini.
