Mortons expands with three new titles
Dan Savage: “These new additions are a superb fit for our audience and our expertise.”

Mortons Media Group says this strategic expansion enhances its diverse portfolio, which includes titles such as Kitchen Garden and Fly Fishing & Fly Tying. The addition of Match Fishing and Total Carp strengthens Mortons’ footprint in the angling community, while Grow Your Own offers fresh ideas for outdoor living and gardening, complementing Kitchen Garden perfectly, added the publisher.

Artichoke Media Chairman Owen Davies said: “Our group has been a proud owner of Total Carp, Match Fishing and Grow Your Own magazines and we have enjoyed working with the people involved with these publications. Artichoke Media is focusing on other areas in trade and consumer publishing, and we believe that Mortons Media Group offered better opportunities to develop the people and these titles in the future.”

Mortons Media Group Ltd says it continues to build its reputation as a publisher for niche interests and hobbies, now producing 28 magazines alongside a bookazine and book division, as well as managing a large events portfolio. With this acquisition, the company says it is looking forward to expanding its reach and deepening its connection with loyal readers while attracting new enthusiasts.

“These new additions are a superb fit for our audience and our expertise,” said Mortons publishing director Dan Savage. “We’re dedicated to delivering high-quality content for readers who are passionate about their hobbies, whether it’s fishing or growing their own produce. We look forward to welcoming the titles and staff on board.”
