New Head of Marketing at Metro

Mei-Ling Rider joins Metro as Head of Marketing, having most recently held the role of Head of Activation at Vice Media.

Mei (pictured) will work to shape the marketing strategy for Metro in both the B2C and B2B spaces with a particular focus on brand building and promotion of its digital products.

Rider said: “I’m hugely excited to be joining Metro at such a pivotal and innovative time. Metro is a brand I’ve been interested in and admired for many years mainly due to it being so entrenched within my daily life. The opportunity for growth and impact as the brand continues to widen its scope especially within the digital sphere is something I’m very much looking forward to developing alongside the rest of the Metro team.”

Mei has worked in media for over 10 years at brands including MTV, Telegraph Media Group and IPC Media.
