Neil Jagger: “I would encourage anyone who hasn’t attended before to come along this year.”

NewstrAid says this festive tradition, made possible through the generous support of more than twenty newspaper and magazine businesses, promises an evening of joyful music and seasonal readings. Guests will enjoy performances from the renowned St Bride’s Choir, along with festive readings by industry colleagues.

Neil Jagger, CEO of NewstrAid, said: “The support we receive from the industry every year allowing us to host this fabulous event is very gratefully received. I would encourage anyone who hasn’t attended before to come along this year.”

Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting people from the newspaper and magazine industry who are facing hardship, added NewstrAid. Over the past year, NewstrAid says it has provided financial, emotional, and practical assistance to more than 1,500 individuals from across the trade, continuing its long-standing mission to help those in need within this community.

Neil Jagger added: “Buying a ticket and joining us on 1st December means you can kick off the festive season in style, with the added bonus of knowing you’re helping hundreds of people from our industry who may be going through a difficult time.”

Following the concert, guests are invited to wine, mince pies, and a Christmas raffle draw in the Bridewell Hall, adjacent to St Bride’s Church.
