Pitch App is an extension of the GoPublish software and can be used by contract publishers to create working digital publications before committing resources to a full app build - which is ideal for winning new business through tenders and pitches, says Oppolis.
Until now, publishers would need to create mock-ups or show examples of other working apps, to demonstrate the benefits of digital publishing to their clients. Now, Pitch App provides the ability to create a branded, working digital publication which can be included as part of any pitch.
“We appreciate the importance of visuals for selling a product, and how competitive the pitching process can be”, said Jon Simcox, Managing Director. “With Pitch App publishers can gain an advantage over their competition by providing a tangible working publication as part of their tender. Clients will then see first hand how a digital publication looks to their consumer.”
“Publishers can also use Pitch App to produce a portfolio issue to send to any potential clients, or include this with any of tender publications created.”
The Pitch App includes all the functions of a standard digital publication, while also offering the ability to create unlimited issues, which can then be used for a variety of titles and in any number of pitches.
Once the contracts have been secured, says Oppolis, the app can be upgraded to a full digital publication and then submitted to either the App Store or Google Play.
