Pop-Up Vogue Café to open at Westfield London

A pop-up Vogue Café will open at Westfield London next month, it was announced yesterday, as part of the magazine’s centenary celebrations.

Celebrating 100 years of British Vogue, the pop-up will be the first of its kind in London and the first venture with involvement from Condé Nast International Restaurants in Western Europe.

“2016 is an exceptional year for British Vogue, and continuing the centenary celebrations the Vogue Café will be a perfect stop-off for shoppers in The Village at Westfield,” commented Alexandra Shulman, Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue.

Gary Robinson, Condé Nast International’s Director of Restaurants, added, “What better location for us to celebrate the fashion-forward foodie than London, with its thriving culinary and style scene. The chance for us to honour British Vogue’s centenary was an exciting opportunity, and the perfect moment for a CNI Restaurants venture in Western Europe.”

Open for three months this summer from 27th June to 25th September, the Vogue Café pop-up will ‘takeover’ L’Orchidee, at the heart of Westfield White City’s luxury offering The Village. Redesigning the space with a Vogue Café aesthetic, the venue will also showcase a selection of British Vogue covers from the last century.

Myf Ryan, Westfield UK and Europe’s Chief Marketing Officer said, “Westfield is thrilled to be working closely with Vogue once again to host Western Europe’s first Vogue Café at The Village, Westfield London. We are honoured to be part of the 100 year celebration of Vogue and the pop up Café will allow our shoppers and diners to celebrate the centenary in a really unique way.”

The pop-up will serve a specially created Vogue 100 Champagne cocktail, as well as a Vogue 100 Punch. A traditional English afternoon tea will be offered, along with a menu of macarons, a selection of snacks, fresh sandwiches, classic sweet treats, hot drinks and other beverages.
