PPA Festival – first speakers announced

The PPA (Professional Publishers Association) on Friday revealed some of the confirmed speakers for this year’s PPA Festival.

British GQ’s Adam Baidawi will be speaking at the PPA Festival.

The line-up includes British GQ’s new Head of Editorial Content Adam Baidawi, and Hattie Brett, Editor of Grazia UK.

The Festival – one of the PPA’s flagship events – runs across five stages, with more than 50 speakers and 25 sessions. The event will be fronted by PPA CEO Sajeeda Merali and new PPA chair Nina Wright, Harmsworth Media CEO.

Speakers appearing across the day include: Brian Morrissey, Founder of The Rebooting, and former Editor-In-Chief of Digiday; Zosia Kmietowicz, News Editor, The BMJ; Rory Sutherland, Vice Chairman, Ogilvy UK; Kari Wilkin, Managing Editor of TheWeek.co.uk. and Andrea Thompson, Editor-In-Chief, Marie Claire, Future plc.

Delegates will also hear from businesses across the sector including: Mark Allen Group, New Statesman, Good Housekeeping, Women’s Running, New Civil Engineer, and Campaign.

The PPA Festival 2022 provides a strong platform for us to come back together and celebrate the acceleration and dynamic new business models that have evolved, the multi-media businesses we represent, and to gain a deeper understanding of the audiences we serve.”

The Festival will be held at Tobacco Dock in London on 19th May 2022. More speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.
