Redactive has been appointed to develop a new membership magazine for the Business Continuity Institute (BCI).

Redactive to publish new magazine for the BCI

The BCI is a membership organisation that seeks to promote and facilitate the adoption of good business continuity and resilience practice worldwide. Members hold influential roles in a wide variety of industries including: aerospace & defence, finance, engineering, energy, healthcare, retail and technology.

The magazine, historically known as Continuity, will have a new title, Continuity & Resilience, to reflect the broader remit and ambition of the Institute.

The quarterly magazine already has a total global readership of over 10,000 in both print and digital formats. Redactive aims to enhance the magazine with a redesign, a modern sub-A4 format and developing a new content strategy that supports the Institute with its member and wider stakeholder engagement objectives. The magazine will be edited by Redactive’s DeeDee Doke.

David Thorp, Executive Director of BCI said: “We’re delighted to have formed a publishing partnership with Redactive to develop our membership magazine. We know members have valued their magazine but the time is ripe for an injection of new ideas, content and creativity and we are excited at the prospect of fulfilling our magazine and content’s potential via our partnership with Redactive.”

Director of Redactive, Aaron Nicholls said: “With a wave of economic, technological and societal challenges continually threatening the ability of businesses from all over the globe to operate, the role of continuity professionals has become increasingly vital. BCI members ensure businesses are resilient and can continue to function and thrive. There is much that can be learned from one another and Continuity & Resilience’s content will share advice, analysis and case materials that will help BCI members to keep their business and economies moving. We’re looking forward to getting started.”
