The first topic of the new Forum is ‘The Future of Motoring’ with a panel comprising Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin; Uwe Dreher, Marketing Director at BMW; Mark Lloyd, Head of Citroën C4 Cactus Design; Michael Hurwitz, Director of Energy, Technology & International at the Department for Transport and Ben Collins, Top Gear’s former ‘Stig’.
Erin Baker, Managing Director, Cars, TMG, said: “We are thrilled to announce the first Telegraph Cars Forum. This thought-leadership debate, which will be bi-annual, reflects Telegraph Cars’ long-held position in the industry as a leading provider of trusted insight into the world of automotive manufacturing, design, engineering and motorsport.”
The decision to host the Telegraph Cars Forum comes after the successful rebrand of The Telegraph’s Motoring section as Telegraph Cars and the launch of its new in-market car-buying section in March 2014, designed to assist motorists in their search for a new vehicle.
The Telegraph Cars Saturday section will cover the debate, and it will be streamed live on the Telegraph Cars site from 12-2pm on Wednesday, 11th February.
