Jason Burt has been promoted to Chief Football Correspondent. Jason has been covering Premier League football and the England team for 10 years, he joined the Telegraph team as Senior Football Writer in 2009.
Sam Wallace has been appointed Chief Football Writer for The Telegraph. Sam is currently Football Correspondent of The Independent, prior to which he worked at the Telegraph.
Harry Redknapp – former Tottenham, West Ham and Portsmouth football manager - will be writing a regular football column for The Telegraph. Harry is one of the games most colourful characters and his column will address the biggest issues of the weekend in The Telegraph’s Total Football section every Monday. Harry Redknapp’s column starts on Monday 10th August.
In addition, John Mullin joins TMG as Head of Sports News. John is a former editor of the Independent on Sunday, was Scottish Referendum Editor for the BBC and has worked in senior editorial positions at The Independent, Guardian and Scotsman. John starts at TMG on August 31st.
