This digital version of the Telegraph newspaper offers subscribers more content, an expanded puzzles section, photo galleries and video as well as a great new way to move around the app, says the publisher.
It will be published by 5am each morning, seven days a week.
It is very simple to use. Readers are never more than two taps away from the section they want to read and can swipe through articles one by one or use the carousel navigation to flick through the edition. It is optimised for all screen sizes.
The new version now includes all the magazine content published at weekends including the Saturday magazine and Stella and uses the new Telegraph typefaces that were unveiled in the newsprint redesign during the summer.
The launch of the new edition app is supported by a marketing campaign across the Telegraph’s digital and print inventory.
Telegraph print subscribers have free access to the new app.
Chris Evans, Editor, The Daily Telegraph, said: “Following a successful refreshed print design in June, which also marked The Daily Telegraph’s 160 year anniversary, we are delighted to launch this new improved and redesigned edition app. The Telegraph’s content now reaches a record audience and this edition app offers readers our award-winning journalism in a reliable, interactive and convenient format.”
The new Telegraph app is powered by Pugpig.
