Time Out says Stockholmers have no shortage of options for how to spend their free time, but less and less time to search for reliable information on where to go right now. Time Out Stockholm aims to make everyday choices easier.
"You can trust Time Out, because our recommendations are never random. Someone on our team has always been there, tried it and thought it through for you, deciding what’s genuinely worth your time. When the city’s best restaurants, events and experiences can be found in one place, life feels just that little bit easier and more inspiring. That’s the added value Time Out wants to bring to Stockholmers", says Jussi Syväniemi, general manager of Time Out Nordics.
Time Out Stockholm will be built by local writers who live and breathe city culture, added the publisher. All recommendations are based on the editorial team’s own experiences and journalistic choices.
The publisher says Time Out Stockholm is aimed first and foremost at Stockholmers who want to get more out of their city and discover great experiences without unnecessary searching, but it will also serve visitors to the city.
Globally, Time Out is known for its curated articles showcasing some of the best activities, attractions, restaurants and bars, as well as travel tips, all compiled by local experts and shared across multiple digital channels. Time Out Nordics launched in the Nordic countries with Finland in autumn 2025. It is backed by Time Out and one of Finland’s largest media houses, A-lehdet. Time Out Nordics produces city content from across the Nordic region. Sweden will be the second country to launch, with Time Out Stockholm going live in spring 2026.
