Joel Meadows: “It was important that Tripwire was made available through the UK newsstand.”

Tripwire, a graphic novels, film and TV publication, returned to print after a ten year gap in January 2021. Running a website since 2015, Tripwire’s Winter 2020/2021 special is available on the English and Welsh newsstand. A list of stockists can be found here.

“It was important that Tripwire was made available through the UK newsstand and we are very proud that we are back there,” says editor-in-chief Joel Meadows.

In addition to their return to print, Tripwire is to launch Tripwire Digital, a new digital only bi-monthly publication, starting the end of March.

“Tripwire digital will offer the same level of quality in terms of its content and its production values, albeit digital ones, as people have come to expect from our print and website iteration. Its first edition celebrates iconic comic character Captain America’s 80th anniversary, we take a look at the career of talented illustrator Alistair Little and preview Boom’s eagerly awaited Proctor Valley Road by acclaimed writer Grant Morrison. It will also feature an archive section reprinting classic interviews with best-selling author Philip Pullman (His Dark Materials), fine artist Phil Hale and Fight Club author Chuck Palahniuk,” Meadows continued.

Tripwire is also planning a new print issue for publication in October featuring Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian and Boba Fett, celebrating 60 years of Marvel’s Fantastic Four and more.
