One of the original supermodels, Naomi Campbell was born in London and was discovered when she was 15 years old. She has graced over 500 magazine covers and is a formidable force in the world of fashion.
Kate Moss, also born in London and discovered aged 14, arrived at the end of the supermodel era and rose to fame in the early 1990s. She has gone on to become one of the biggest international supermodels ever.
Steve McQueen CBE is an English film director, producer, screenwriter and video artist, winning multiple awards for his 2013 film 12 Years a Slave. He has also received the Turner Prize for his artwork.
Grace Coddington is a former Vogue model who then joined British Vogue where she worked for 19 years. She then moved to New York to work for Calvin Klein before joining American Vogue. Known for the creation of large, complex and dramatic photo shoots, she has produced some of fashion’s most memorable imagery, say the publishers.
Kate Moss was previously Contributing Fashion Editor of British Vogue.
As was announced last month, Venetia Scott will be joining British Vogue as Fashion Director from 10th July.
Edward Enninful takes up is role as Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue in August.
