Netmums, a UK parenting platform, today announces a new chapter for their flagship show, The Netmums Podcast, welcoming singer and TV presenter JB Gill as its new co-host alongside Netmums Editorial Director Louise Burke.

Dad of two JB Gill will join the podcast for its 18th series, launching on February 10 2026. JB has built a successful career in broadcasting since his days in the pop band JLS which began on The X Factor in 2008. He fronts The One Show and most recently appeared in The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Special 2025. He was also a finalist on Strictly Come Dancing in 2024.

Off camera, JB has also had an interesting journey, added Netmums. He set up a farm with his family – wife of 11 years, Chloe and two children Ace and Chiara, in the Kent countryside in 2012. His passion for farming life, sustainable food and knowledge of countryside issues lead to presenting CBeebies’ Bafta-nominated Down On The Farm and Channel 5’s RTS award-winning Cooking With The Gills and On the Farm, as well as contributions to BBC’s Countryfile and Springwatch.

JB is also a published author with Puffin Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, having launched two books for young readers in spring 2023 and 2025.

The Netmums Podcast refresh marks a significant evolution for the brand, added the platform. Netmums says it now connects with dads more than ever before, with male engagement across the platform rising sharply over the past five years. Dads now represent around one in five users across Netmums channels. Together, JB and Louise will explore what matters most to parents today – from pregnancy and the early years to mental health, money, relationships and the everyday realities shaping family life in 2026, with real and honest experience.

Launched in 2020, The Netmums Podcast reached top parenting podcast status on Apple and Spotify. It has since grown into one of the UK’s most trusted, authentic and relatable parenting podcasts, guests have included Davina McCall, Joe Wicks, Sir Keir Starmer and Alex Jones, all sharing the highs, lows and laughs of parenting. The franchise has also expanded into successful spin-offs, including Netmums Unfiltered and Late Night Netmums.
