British clothing brand Weird Fish has teamed up with Beano to give some of their most loved stars a fishy makeover, through five limited edition cartoon T-shirts.

Rob Glenny: “Weird Fish have had brilliant fun with the characters, and we love where their imagination has taken them."

Landing in Beano's 'Year of Mischief' to celebrate Dennis the Menaces 75th anniversary, the Weird Fish artists have created their own mischief and mayhem, through a collection of T-Shirts with enough puns to make you groan from gill to gill, says publisher DC Thomson.

You all know Dennis the Menace, how about his alter ego Dennfish, with his sidekick trout hound? And Bananaman, now meet Bananaclam, Beano's mightiest mollusc, added the publisher.

Dan Marsland, head of marketing at Weird Fish commented: “We love a prank, a pun and a bit of fun at Weird Fish, so joining shoals with Beano is the perfect partnership. These brilliant T-shirts are sure to be a hit with lifelong fans or anyone who likes to make a bit of a splash.”

Rob Glenny, executive director kids community at Beano Studios, said: “Dennis has been doing things his own way for 75 years, and that spirit is right at the heart of our Year of Mischief. In Beano, anything is possible, so why shouldn't Dennis become Dennfish or Bananaman become Bananaclam? Weird Fish have had brilliant fun with the characters, and we love where their imagination has taken them."

The partnership launched on Wednesday 16th September, with the limited-edition T-shirts available online at weirdfish.co.uk and in selected stores across the UK.
