Taking place on 2-3 November 2009 at Jumeriah Beach Hotel in Dubai, WMM is dedicated to publishers wishing to discuss the licensing and syndication of their magazine content across borders.
The newly launched website allows attendees and exhibitors to register and have access to an online diary in order to start making appointments immediately, and to save wasting valuable time at the event.
New to this year’s WMM is Virtual Magazine Marketplace (VMM), which will allow those attending in November to bring WMM into the office or home before the event. VMM will take place on 16-17 September, and will enable attendees to engage in real-time chat, which means that preliminary discussions can be held before even getting on a plane, meaning that you can get straight down to business in Dubai.
For more information on WMM, or how to register as an attendee or exhibitor, contact Claire Jones at claire@fipp.com or call 020 7404 4169.
About WMM
FIPP says: “The FIPP Worldwide Magazine Marketplace (WMM) is the only event in the world dedicated to magazine licensing, joint ventures and syndication. Bringing together consumer, B2B, customer and digital publishers from around the globe, WMM allows attendees to fit months of business meetings in just two days. Whether they are a publisher with established international magazine brands or a smaller company looking to grow their business, WMM presents an opportunity that they cannot afford to miss.
The exhibitors at WMM have an unparalleled opportunity to showcase their brand or products to the international publishing community. Smaller publishers with less than 35 members of staff can also benefit from a dedicated package.
Attending WMM as a delegate gives individuals the freedom to incorporate workshops and business meetings into their schedule.
Suppliers to the magazine industry also use WMM to show the publishing world exactly how their products can benefit businesses.”
