Led by reporting from the Bloomberg Technology team and drawing on Bloomberg’s global newsroom, content will explore key themes, including innovations and investments in artificial intelligence (AI), the use of AI in industries and society, understanding AI, and the impact and ethics surrounding AI, says Bloomberg.
“As we broaden our coverage of a new era of disruptive AI tools, we’re focused on the economic and financial impact of this groundbreaking technology on consumers, companies, markets, and governments around the world — and how it stands to change the balance of power in Silicon Valley and beyond,” said Brad Stone, Bloomberg’s senior executive editor for global technology.
As part of this, Bloomberg has debuted AI IRL, a new Bloomberg Original series hosted by Bloomberg journalists Jackie Davalos and Nate Lanxon. The 12-episode streaming series, premiered on April 19, delves into the ways AI is transforming fields like medicine, art, warfare and crime. Big picture and conversational, AI IRL will bring viewers to the forefront of this technology and interrogate its most persuasive evangelists and critics.
The multi-platform coverage also spans across a newly created landing page on Bloomberg.com for the latest news and features; regular editions of Bloomberg Technology’s daily newsletter focused solely on AI; the upcoming Bloomberg Technology Summit in June, which will feature discussions on AI breakthroughs; and Bloomberg Businessweek’s upcoming annual Technology Issue, publishing in June, where AI will be a central theme.
