The festival is designed to arm Cosmopolitan’s audience of young women with advice, tips and resources from leading experts across a wide range of industries to help them navigate this period of increased career uncertainty.
Launching on 7th September and running until the end of the month, the Cosmopolitan Careers Festival will feature eight bespoke sessions covering subjects including: ‘How To Get Hired’, ‘So You Wanna Do Something That Makes A Difference’, ‘Who Is Hiring Right Now?’ and ‘The Art Of Self-Promotion’.
Speakers confirmed to participate include Leena Nair, Chief HR Officer at Unilever, Mary Keane-Dawson, Group CEO at Takumi, Samantha Clarke, Founder and CEO Love it or Leave it, Sarah Ellis, Co-Founder of Amazing If and Natalie Campbell CEO of Belu Water.
Whether already in a career, job hunting or leaving education, the events are open for anyone to attend and designed to be fully interactive to give guests the opportunity to ask any burning questions they may have, say the organisers.
Claire Hodgson, Editor-in-Chief of Cosmopolitan, says: “During this period of increased career uncertainty, we wanted to bring together an array of inspiring and successful women to host a series of free online events, which provide expert guidance and support to those who may not otherwise be able to access it. We truly hope the Cosmopolitan Careers Festival will prove to be a valuable resource that equips our highly engaged audience with the necessary skills they may need to make the next steps in landing their dream role – whatever that may be!”
