CPL joins forces with Century One

CPL have announced that they are combining with content marketing agency Century One to form CPL One Group.

CPL One Group is made up of three brands – CPL, Century One and Cabbells. The combined team of around 70 employees, plus freelance support, will continue to operate from offices in Cambridge and St Albans, and will share more than 30 retained clients between them. The combined annual revenues of the group are on course to be £10 million, says the company.

As part of the deal, Century One and Cabbells managing director Sarah Simpson becomes a shareholder of CPL One and joins the CPL One Group board, which is headed up by CPL managing director Mike Sewell.

“Together, CPL, Century One and Cabbells have the potential to become a major force in the sectors in which we specialise,” said Sarah. “We share similar philosophies and this move allows us to create a strong and exciting combined platform for future growth.”

In the longer term we are confident that our employees, along with current and future clients, will benefit from the shared expertise and experience of the combined group.”
