Taking place over three dates in September and October, the partnership is expanding the reach of the event to Cycling Weekly’s Facebook following, with broadcaster Ned Boulting offering commentary throughout the coverage, the publisher says.
James Pope, CEO of FACE Partnership, owners of the Revolution Series says: “We are excited to extend our digital coverage of Revolution this season in collaboration with Cycling Weekly. The Facebook Live broadcast of the UK Championship will provide more live racing than ever before and ensure fans don’t miss a second of the action from both the afternoon and evening session.”
Simon Collis, content director of Time Inc. UK’s cycling group, adds: “We’re thrilled to work closely with Revolution to support British track cycling and to give our audience live content from this world-famous event. Cycling Weekly’s growth in video, including Facebook Live, is going from strength-to-strength, and we have already produced more than 250 cycling videos in 2016.”
