Dawson Media Direct unveils new dedicated website for DMD Thailand

Dawson Media Direct announced the launch this week of the first in a planned series of territory-specific ‘microsites’, designed to serve its publisher and airline customers in Thailand.

The new website,, is entirely dual-language, in Thai and English, providing an online guide to DMD products and services – both print and digital – on the ground (and in the air) in Thailand, and also around the globe.

From its offices in Bangkok, DMD operates a local service for domestic and major overseas airlines; and in the few years since it joined the company’s worldwide network, DMD Thailand has forged valuable links with many of the country’s major newspaper and magazine publishers, says Dawson Media Direct.

“It’s among Thai publishers that we see the new site adding most significant value”, notes DMD Managing Director Paul Rayson.

“The airline industry is international, almost by definition, and English has long been its common language.

“But the Thai publishing sector – again pretty much by definition – does business largely in its native tongue, and our aim is that a Thai language site will reach out to parts of the market we might have only limited engagement with.

“It helps too that we already have a lively operation in Bangkok, ready to distribute high quality Thai titles to our global customer base.”
