With 5 titles acquired in the last year, including Trout & Salmon from Bauer Media, Shooting Times from Future, and Rifle Shooter from Archant, each previously with different digital edition providers, Fieldsports have looked to consolidate their digital delivery with one supplier, says Jellyfish.
Having encountered challenges with app transfer in the past, a key requirement of the brief was a smooth transition for existing subscribers and continuity of access. With all brands now successfully transferred, including 10 years of back issue content in some cases, this goal has been achieved, Jellyfish continued.
Digital editions can now be purchased through each brands’ own website, branded apps on iOS and Android and through the Pocketmags store. Subscribers through the Fieldsports sites can enjoy digital access via an API link between ESco and Jellyfish’s digital publishing products.
Dom Holtam, the MD of Fieldsports Press said: “The working relationship with Jellyfish has been excellent. We have a number of products up and running, on budget and on schedule. Communication has always been clear and customer support, where required, prompt and successful. Jellyfish had an API solution ready to roll out and so far the journey has been as close to seamless as I could have wished for. That they are a very nice bunch to work with is just a bonus!”
Patrick Knight, Jellyfish head of product said: “Fieldsports Press are going from strength to strength and we’re delighted to have been chosen to power the digital edition portfolio following the exciting recent acquisitions.”
