Deborah Joseph: “With so many incredible women who have stepped up, raised their voice and challenged the status quo in 2023, there is plenty to celebrate at this year’s Glamour Women of the Year.”

Glamour UK has announced its annual Women of the Year awards will return to London on 17th October 2023, celebrating powerful, inspirational and trailblazing women and marking the second year of the title’s partnership with headline partner, Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland.

Now in its eleventh year, the publisher says Women of the Year will welcome an all-star guest list of honourees, presenters and guests for an evening of dinner, drinks and live performances. Past winners have included Kim Cattrall, Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham.

Samsung joins Glamour UK as headline events partner following a particularly successful event last year. Tinder has also been welcomed onboard as a strategic event partner and Sol de Janiero as supporting partner.

Since 2001 Glamour UK says it has captured the zeitgeist, creating cultural conversations and agenda-setting moments for and about women. For 2023 the Women of The Year Awards will honour women who have broken down barriers and incited change throughout their careers.

For the first time ever, Glamour Women of the Year celebrations will be taking place across 5 countries, U.K. US, Germany, Spain and Mexico and will be celebrating two global award winners who will join an array of local market awardees, added the publisher.

Glamour US will host its 33rd annual event on November 7th and Glamour Germany will host its inaugural event on the 2nd November, honouring extraordinary women around the globe who are breaking barriers with their achievements. Glamour Spain and Mexico will host their events on October 26th and November 9th respectively.

Deborah Joseph, european editorial director at Glamour said: “With so many incredible women who have stepped up, raised their voice and challenged the status quo in 2023, there is plenty to celebrate at this year’s Glamour Women of the Year. We can’t wait to bring together the changemaking women from all walks of life for our annual celebration of feminism in all its forms.”

Annika Bizon, marketing director Samsung UK said: “We’re so excited to be partnering with Glamour for the Women of the Year Awards for the second year running. Diversity, inclusion and empowerment are shared values between Samsung and the GLAMOUR Women of the Year awards, and we’re proud to team up with this iconic ceremony to shine a light on some of the most inspirational women in society today.”

The publisher says the Women of the Year Awards will also be commemorated with special digital covers, which will be released on the lead up to and immediately following the event.
