Management Buyout from Seven Publishing

delicious magazine is to be published by newly formed media group, Eye to Eye Media, following a management buy-out from Seven Publishing Group.

The management buy-out is led by Seamus Geoghegan, founder and Managing  Director of Seven Publishing Group and formerly Director of Lifestyle, of BBC Worldwide.

The Eye to Eye Media Ltd portfolio includes delicious. magazine, launched in the UK in November 2003 under licence from News Magazines in Australia. The magazine is currently number two in the food magazine market with a circulation of 101,039 (ABC audit Jan-Jun 09), says the publisher.

deliciousmagazine.co.uk was launched in 2008 in its current form claims to attract over 200k unique users per month and 1 million page impressions a month. It has a fully searchable recipe database. Eye to Eye Media Ltd will continue to create integrated, multi-platform content, from websites to mobile applications for third parties.

Eye to Eye Media aims to continue to create high-quality, consumer-focused content across its portfolio. In addition to publishing magazines, the newly formed company will add to its successful cookery book series in 2010.

Eye to Eye Media Ltd also holds a substantial puzzle portfolio (pictured) and is currently number three in the market; the new company will take a lead in developing creative, new game- and puzzle-based content to be delivered over a number of platforms, including mobile and web, with a focus on new technologies.
