Metro says The Getaway Expert is a six-step expert travel guide sent daily over one week. It is designed as a short, high-impact series for people who want to make smarter, more enjoyable holiday choices.
Whether it’s relaxing on a lounger with a cocktail or a sunrise hike to see the world’s most breathtaking views, Metro’s consultant travel editor Alice Murphy will match you with your perfect destination, added Metro.
Every newsletter will be packed with extras, Metro continued, from money-saving hacks and insider tips to stories from 60 countries around the world.
The newsletter will complement bespoke content across Metro’s Travel page, which the publisher says attracts more than 1.4 million views a month and is up 33% year on year.
Metro head of newsletters, Sophie Laughton said: “The Getaway Expert is Metro’s first foray into creating a series newsletter designed to meet readers at a time when they are most likely to be planning their next getaway.
