Editorial Director Phil Hilton says: “Jordan is a rare combination of traffic-savvy web operator, and true men’s media creative who had us laughing throughout his pitch. He beat a strong field of very talented applicants. Response to the vacancy was far in excess of anything we’d anticipated – a real testament to ShortList the brand.”
Jordan has previously also worked in the commercial sector, creating content for large consumer brands looking to engage with an online audience. This was another factor in making him the perfect candidate, as integrated creative solutions become an ever-increasing part of our digital revenues, says ShortList.
He main brief is to increase domestic UK traffic and engagement. Phil comments: “Jordan impressed us with ambitious plans to fill it with entertaining lists, opinion pieces and fast-moving news. He will also be bringing the site closer to the print edition, helping to build an already dominant men’s property.”
Jordan says: “I’m thrilled to be the new editor of ShortList.com, and I look forward to joining the brand and working with the whole team to power the site ahead as an essential digital destination for articulate and aspirational men. I can’t wait to get started.”
Jordan joins Shortlist Media on April 13th.
