Catherine will be based in The News Building in London, and will have responsibility for growing total paid sales of The Times and The Sunday Times. Her work will involve creating and implementing brand strategy across both print and digital, and she will be the key contact for members of the executive and title editors.
Currently Global Brand & Business to Business Director at the Financial Times, Catherine has extensive experience in brand positioning and development within the media. She began her career working as a Direct Marketing Executive at Associated Newspapers then, after a stint at USA Today International, she joined the FT in 2002 as UK & Ireland Retail Manager. Catherine has held several positions at the FT, rising through the ranks to her current role in 2012, where amongst other things she successfully launched an integrated marketing strategy to reposition FT Weekend.
Catherine will report to Chris Duncan, the Chief Marketing Officer.
