Party leaders may not like the headlines but they can’t avoid them at the party conferences, says Gold Key Media, as news publishers use strategic placement to make sure copies are visible throughout the event.
Merchandisers are distributing daily newspapers and magazines to attending delegates in conference and into hotel rooms throughout Manchester this week.
“We are delighted to have been selected again by the main political parties to present the media at their events. This week, we celebrate our 21st year of trading and this is a great way to showcase our event credentials,” says Chris Horn, managing director and founder of Gold Key Media.
Titles being distributed include The Times, The Sun, The Guardian, Guardian Weekly, The Express and The Morning Star.
John Howard, Group Circulation Director at Reach said: “Of the many things we've learned in the past 18 tumultuous months, knowing who you can rely on has been a key lesson. In our opinion and experience, GoldKey has put a massive tick in that box. From helping us get mags and papers to key workers or supporting our presence at the Labour and Tory Conferences, the team at Gold Key have been magnificent. We just love the ‘can-do’ attitude.”
