Nigerian Watch now available at Tube and Rail stations

Nigerian Watch, a newspaper for the Nigerian community in the UK, is now available to commuters using the London tube and railway.

Green World Media, publisher of Nigerian Watch, has added 20 underground and railway stations to its distribution network as part of the strategic rollout of its publication.

Starting on 31 August, Nigerian Watch will be distributed via branded newspaper bins at selected London stations, including Charing Cross, Elephant & Castle, Mile End and Peckham Rye. They were selected for being high traffic areas frequented by the paper's target audience: UK residents born in Nigeria, their descendants born in the UK and those with an interest in the country and its community.

Green World Media says it has increased the monthly print run to 50,000 copies to ensure the continued supply of the newspaper across its distribution network, which includes selected London superstores, Heathrow and Gatwick airports, and a network of independent retail and beauty outlets across the UK.

Maryanne Jemide (pictured), MD of Green World Media and publisher of Nigerian Watch, comments: "Since its launch in March 2012, Nigerian Watch has gone from strength to strength and we are particularly proud to have reached the milestone of 50,000 copies in the print run. With 20 stations also added to our distribution network this means that even more members of the Nigerian community can enjoy news that is relevant to their world."

Nigerian Watch is available at the following London tube stations from 31st August 2012: Barking, Brixton, Catford, Charing Cross, South Croydon, Deptford Bridge, Ealing Common, Edgware Road, Elephant & Castle, Euston, Forest Hill, Lewisham, Mile End, New Cross Gate, Peckham, Temple, Tooting Broadway, Tower Hill, Victoria, Wembley Central.
