BBC Good Food magazine is encouraging its readers to ‘love February’ which includes several occasions to cook something special for a loved one or for the family.
In its annual survey of the nation’s food habits the brand identified steak as the favourite meal for Valentine’s Day. One version of the February issue carries a succulent T-Bone steak with ‘best-ever onion rings’.
Sweet toothed consumers will be tempted with a stack of chocolate-filled pancakes. All issues include both of these recipes – plus Ken Hom’s homemade Peking duck for celebrating at Chinese New Year.
Also in the magazine is advice on staying healthy at any age, a food lover’s guide to eating and shopping in Paris, plus 73 triple-tested recipes from the magazine’s expert cooks.
According to Editor Gillian Carter: “We wanted to give February some love, and celebrate all the reasons to cook something special. Chinese New Year, Shrove Tuesday and Valentine’s Day are a great excuse for trying a new recipe. We hope our readers enjoy finding two covers to choose from this month’s issue.”
The February issue of BBC Good Food Magazine is on sale now, priced at £4.25.
