Pensions Expert to continue under new ownership

The news of the acquisition by DG Publishing follows the announcement from the FT Group that Pensions Expert will cease to publish at or around the end of March 2023.

The acquisition involves all rights to Pensions Expert’s brand, IP, website and previous content. This also means that the annual Pensions and Investment Provider Awards will continue to recognise outstanding achievements by the industry.

Commenting on the news, Neil Desmond, joint managing director, DG Publishing said: “We are delighted to take on Pensions Expert. The acquisition of a publication of Pensions Expert’s standing is an amazing opportunity to grow our wider offering and activity, building on our already successful conference programmes.”

DG Publishing acquired Pensions Expert on 28 April 2023. The publisher says further information on how the publication will be integrated into the DG Publishing offering will follow.
