Estates Gazette has announced the return of Peter Bill, the former editor of Estates Gazette and a regarded figure in the real estate industry, with a new weekly column titled Bill Post. In this new series, the publisher says Peter will offer his perspective on the week’s biggest real estate stories, providing readers with his trademark wry and sardonic outlook.
Peter Bill’s career spans decades in the real estate world. A surveyor-turned-journalist, his resume includes six years as editor of Building magazine in the nineties and over a decade as the editor of Estates Gazette until 2009. His experience also includes twenty years in the construction industry, including a decade with housebuilder George Wimpey. For seven years, Peter penned a weekly 'On Property' page for the Evening Standard.
Peter is the author of Planet Property and, most recently, Broken Homes: Britain’s Housing Crisis; Faults, Factoids and Fixes, co-written with regeneration expert Jackie Sadek.
Estates Gazette says his new column will bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to readers, offering a thought-provoking and sometimes provocative take on the biggest developments in the property sector.
