Pixometry says it has streamlined its professional-grade image enhancement platform for a new generation of users.

Pixometry releases version for small to medium sized companies
John de Jong: “Now, for the first time, we can place that power into the hands of every marketing team, every independent publisher, every business that has ever needed outstanding images but thought professional quality was out of reach.”

Pixometry’s streamlined version is designed for small to medium-sized marketing departments, independent publishers, and organisations that demand powerful imagery for their print and digital campaigns, all without the need for specialist operators or complex software, says the company.

Built on the same engine that powers Pixometry’s enterprise platform, this new streamlined version is browser-based and scales from 1 to 5,000 images per month to align with all businesses’ imaging workflow needs.

John de Jong, CEO & owner, Pixometry, sais: “This is the moment we've been building towards without always knowing it. Thirty years of developing and refining one of the industry's most trusted imaging engines, and now, for the first time, we can place that power into the hands of every marketing team, every independent publisher, every business that has ever needed outstanding images but thought professional quality was out of reach. Combining our proven engine with the best of today's AI capabilities has made that possible, and what we've built feels like the most natural next step in our story. This is Pixometry for everyone.”

Derek Milne, sales & marketing director, Pixometry, added: “The demand had always been there, however for the smaller teams, the traditional path to Pixometry had a number of barriers; the start-up cost was too high for some, monthly volume commitments didn't suit businesses with seasonal demand, additional technology constraints ruled out many, and without the imaging expertise to get the best from it, these constraints simply didn’t enable the desire to follow the technology.

“This new version is the answer to every one of those conversations. A browser-based service built on the same engine that powers Pixometry's enterprise platform, designed specifically around the needs of the businesses that have always wanted access but never had a straightforward way in.”

Pixometry transforms everyday images into professional-grade assets, automatically, says the company. The platform handles everything from automatic brightness, sharpness and contrast correction to AI-powered background removal, AI image upscaling, and portrait retouching.

Pixometry is available now as a fully released service, available via browser on Windows and Mac, and accessible to developers via REST API.
