Special issue of Heritage for FIPP delegates

PPA (the UK Periodical Publishers Association) has teamed up with Archant Specialist magazines to produce a special one-off issue of Heritage magazine to give to international delegates at the biennial FIPP World Magazine Congress in London from 4th-6th May, 2009.

To tie-in with the heritage theme of this year’s Congress, the event organisers at PPA are working with Heritage magazine to produce a special issue of the magazine to give to international delegates and exhibitors. The magazine will have a bespoke cover, a welcome page from the event organisers and news, interviews and features about this year’s event.

The magazine will also include features on a number of Britain’s leading heritage sites, including a sixteen-page ‘Best of Britain’ supplement, giving delegates a run down of the nation’s finest castles, museums, heritage days out and historic homes and gardens to enjoy during their visit.

Sarah Tunstall, Chief Operating Officer of PPA said: “The 2009 FIPP World Magazine Congress is the key event of the year for senior publishing executives from around the world. It is fitting that the Congress is returning to London – a city that is internationally recognised for pioneering the development of magazine brands across the internet, radio, television, events and shows. Teaming up with Heritage magazine allows us to demonstrate this unique appeal to our international guests.”

Her sentiments are shared by Johnny Hustler, Managing Director of Archant Lifestyle, who said: “We are thrilled to be working with the PPA to produce a special issue of Heritage Magazine. PPA has organized a spectacular conference that will showcase the best that London has to offer. Heritage Magazine similarly does a fantastic job, illustrating the country's rich tapestry of landscape, history and culture and we hope our special edition will whet the appetite of delegates for all manner of future engagement with Britain as we work up to the Olympics in 2012.”
