Lydia Slater: “Staying true to Harper’s Bazaar’s heritage, we are delighted to celebrate the power of sisterhood at our annual International Women’s Day gala in partnership with Irwin Mitchell.”

Harper’s Bazaar UK has announced it will host its annual International Women’s Day celebration, in partnership with headline partner Irwin Mitchell and associate partners Range Rover and Marylebone Village.

Ros Bever, managing partner of Irwin Mitchell’s Private Client Group, commented: “International Women’s Day is both a celebration and a call to action. We’re proud to partner with Harper’s Bazaar on an evening that amplifies women’s voices and champions leadership across every field. At Irwin Mitchell, our Private Client team supports women and their families to protect what matters, plan confidently for the future and navigate life’s biggest decisions with clarity. We look forward to an inspiring night of real stories and practical insight.”

Now in its eighth year, Harper’s Bazaar says the event has become a highlight of the cultural calendar, convening influential voices to champion progress, creativity and female leadership.

The gala dinner will be held at the Corinthia London on Wednesday 4 March 2026, and will welcome readers and Bazaar Privé members for a champagne reception, followed by a three-course dinner hosted by Harper’s Bazaar’s editor-in-chief Lydia Slater.

The BAFTA-winning actress Lashana Lynch will lead a line-up of women who will speak as part of a series of panel talks and conversations throughout the evening. Best known for her roles in No Time to Die and The Day of the Jackal, Lynch will discuss what makes a compelling modern action heroine, the realities of navigating the entertainment industry today and how she is forging a career – and embracing motherhood – on her own terms.

Harper’s Bazaar says other speakers include:

  • The rugby union player Ellie Kildunne, a member of England’s World Cup-winning Red Roses squad; the ballet dancer Melissa Hamilton, who broke records when she became the oldest person to be promoted to principal at the Royal Ballet aged 36; and the leadership coach, author and kayaking adventurer Katie Carr. The trio will join a panel celebrating the power of women to achieve incredible feats of endurance against all odds.
  • The award-winning Prima Facie playwright Suzie Miller; the comedian, author and screenwriter Deborah Frances-White; and the barrister and founder of not-for-profit organisation Right to Equality Charlotte Proudman, who will reflect on how the global conversation around equality needs to evolve against the backdrop of the Epstein revelations.

Lydia Slater, editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar, said: “Staying true to Harper’s Bazaar’s heritage, we are delighted to celebrate the power of sisterhood at our annual International Women’s Day gala in partnership with Irwin Mitchell. The evening brings together a cohort of leading women who inspire our community and are driving positive change.”
