Stuart Forrest joins Bauer Media Group

Bauer Media Group has announced that Stuart Forrest will join the business as global SEO director of its publishing business.

Bauer Media Group says Forrest will commence his new role 12 June 2023 and joins from Future plc. bringing experience regarding technical SEO, audience trends, data provision and paid performance marketing across digital channels for Bauer's portfolio of publishing brands.

In his new role at Bauer Media Group, he will be responsible for technical SEO, creating effective and harmonised ways of working regarding SEO actions in UK and Germany including supporting their content strategy and portfolio for audience growth through organic traffic.

Forrest will be based in London and work closely with both Charlie Calton-Watson, chief digital officer in the UK and chief innovation officer Inga Leister in Germany.

Speaking on the appointment, Calton-Watson said: “We’re thrilled that Stuart is joining our business. His expertise will perfectly complement the skills we already have within our talented teams and the unique brands. Building on these is a focal point for us as we look to accelerate the growth of our digital business. As such, this is a tremendously important development in our transformation journey and for the future of our Publishing business.”
