The Guardian have announced that their Women’s Football Weekly podcast will return on Tuesday 20 September, following a special preview episode last week, in support of the Women’s Super League 2022/23 returning this weekend. Host Faye Carruthers, Guardian football writer Suzanne Wrack and special guests from the world of women’s football will be keeping up to date with every game to provide listeners with a round-up, expert analysis and opinion throughout the Women’s Super League season.
New episodes will be released on Tuesdays, says the publisher, following the 22 matchdays of the Women’s Super League. The podcast can be found on theguardian.com/audio and all other podcast apps of choice including Apple, Spotify and Acast.

The Guardian say that they provide coverage of women’s football all year round. In addition to Women’s Football Weekly, the Guardian’s Women’s Super League coverage will also include the Guardian’s minute-by-minute live blogs from every round, talking points from the league as well as news, features and interviews. This will all be provided by the Guardian’s team of writers and expert columnists Suzanne Wrack, Louise Taylor, former England internationals Karen Carney and Anita Asante and many more. There will also be coverage on the ongoing Football Weekly podcast.
