Time Well Spent Group appoints InterMedia
Simon K. Barr: “Partnering with Intermedia for newsstand distribution is a logical and strong development for our business.”

Time Well Spent Group has appointed InterMedia to manage its newsstand marketing and distribution services, effective from April 1 2025.

Championing Britain’s fieldsports communities, TWS Group reaches niche audience groups across every demographic in outdoor pursuits, thanks to its weekly publications, says InterMedia. With titles including Airgun World, Sporting Gun, Trout & Salmon, Gun Mart and many more, all issues on sale from April 1 will be distributed by InterMedia.

Simon K. Barr, CEO/owner, Time Well Spent Group comments: “As the owner of Time Well Spent Group, I’ve dedicated years to shaping a media company that resonates deeply with ultra passionate niche communities, delivering iconic titles like Shooting Times and Trout & Salmon to readers who live and breathe for the pastimes we write about. Partnering with Intermedia for newsstand distribution is a logical and strong development for our business. Their sophisticated distribution strategies and focus on optimising reach align perfectly with our mission to elevate the specialist media we tirelessly produce. I’m thrilled to see our titles with them, reaching the right audiences with precision and impact.”

Group managing director of InterMedia, John Bardsley says: “We are thrilled to welcome the Time Well Spent brands to our growing portfolio, which hold market leading status in their respective sectors. We very much look forward to driving their retail newsstand sales and building on our existing partnership with TWS in respect of single issue and book distribution.”

This collaboration strengthens the partnership between the two companies, with InterMedia’s sister company, InterSend, managing TWS Group’s book distribution, alongside two of their magazines: Fieldsports Journal and Gundog Journal.
