Eileen Leah: “We are excited to embark on this new chapter and invite our community to join us on our journey with timestwo.online, where we will continue to deliver positive news stories that inspire our residents, communities and businesses.”

Earlier this month, Times of Tunbridge Wells, a local publication serving the town since its launch on March 4, 2015, announced a significant transition.

Operated by One Media, part of the Elite Leisure Group (ELC Group of companies), the Times of Tunbridge Wells says it has been dedicated to delivering a diverse range of local news with the unique addition of national, and international news stories to its loyal readership.

Since its launch the Times of Tunbridge Wells says it has upheld a steadfast commitment to its community, striving to keep residents informed about all the news that matters in the town and borough of Royal Tunbridge Wells and the wider Weald area and East Sussex. As well as reporting relevant news, the publication is also known for celebrating the town’s rich heritage, architecture, attractions, and the remarkable individuals that make it such a vibrant place to live and work, added the publisher.

For nine years, the Times of Tunbridge Wells has been available as a free publication, distributed every Wednesday in both print and online formats. Throughout its tenure, the publication says it has remained dedicated to reporting on topics that matter most to its readers, navigating through turbulent times such as Brexit, the global pandemic, and wider economic challenges.

As the world evolves, the Times of Tunbridge Wells says it recognises the importance of adapting to meet the changing needs of its audience. With this in mind, the decision has been made to transition from its printed edition to a new digital platform, timestwo.online. The last printed edition of the Times of Tunbridge Wells was distributed on February 28, 2024.

Despite this shift, the essence of the publication remains unchanged, the publisher continued. The new timestwo.online will continue to provide coverage on culture, style, education, music, sport, property, retail, food, entertainment, fashion, beauty, and wellness, offering readers an engaging online experience.

“We extend our deep gratitude to our loyal readers, advertisers and supporters for their unwavering encouragement over the years,” said Eileen Leahy, editor of Times of Tunbridge Wells. “We are excited to embark on this new chapter and invite our community to join us on our journey with timestwo.online, where we will continue to deliver positive news stories that inspire our residents, communities and businesses.”
