Unity Media moves to MagazineCloner

MagazineCloner has announced that it will now be producing Apps and Digital editions for Unity Media and the company’s automotive magazine portfolio.

MagazineCloner will be building new Apps for Unity Media’s motoring magazines, for sale via the Apple Newsstand, Google Play/Android, the Kindle Fire and PC and Mac. Unity Media have a strong portfolio of specialist motoring titles, which includes BMW Car, Performance BMW, Retro Cars, Retro Ford, Performance Ford, Banzai, GT Porsche and Performance VW.

Dennis Taylor, Chairman of Unity Media said, “We were one of the first UK publishers to adopt digital editions for our automotive magazines back in 2010, since then we have wanted to add more platforms and reach a wider audience and MagazineCloner have offered us a steadfast service that allows us to upload, process and distribute our titles on more platforms, thus generating a significantly larger target market for our magazines.”

Emma Grigg, Online Manager for Unity Media said, “We’ve been working with various digital publishers in the past but it’s refreshing to have found a company that actually care about your product as much as MagazineCloner do. The staff have all been amazing and we look forward to working closely with them on future ventures.”

Ian Remmer, Sales Director of MagazineCloner said, “We’re thrilled Unity Media has chosen to work with MagazineCloner and we are confident we can put them in front of more “eyeballs” than they currently reach. Taking on a client that already has Apps with a different supplier can sometimes be difficult, but Unity’s team have been great to work with and it has been a smooth process, with the first titles going on sale last week. Unity Media already have a well-established print and digital portfolio and we’re looking forward to working closely with them on some exciting new projects.”
