Many of the titles encompass full archives, every issue of which will be accessible across web, iOS and Android platforms.
Every page, issue and article of the titles is incorporated into Exact Editions’ comprehensive search facility, meaning that platform-users can instantly look up a specific topic, feature or article from back issues, as well as in the latest content.
The archives will be sold to individuals by both Exact Editions and Warners, with Exact Editions also selling high-value licenses to libraries around the world.
Five of the titles (Writing Magazine, History Scotland, Traction, Narrow Gauge World and Garden Rail) are already available in the Exact Editions individual and institutional shops.
The other titles which will be added are British Railway Modelling, Engineering in Miniature, Cake Decoration, Dolls House, The Artist, Leisure Painting & Stamp and Coin Collector.
Steve Cole, Warners Group Publications Publisher, said: “We are really excited to be working with Exact Editions. The ability to do a search that spans all uploaded magazines is a real benefit to our readers. I’m looking forward to integrating Exact with a number of upcoming online membership schemes that I am sure will be a huge success.”
Daryl Rayner, Managing Director of Exact Editions commented: “We are delighted to be working with Warners to digitise these archives, which will undoubtedly serve as a valuable resource for professionals and enthusiasts in many fields.”
